Eirik Jarl Trondsen, a native of Norway and a long-time resident of East Africa, started a project called Affirmative Art in Kenya in 2007. Affirmative Art is a creative tool to increase awareness about individual and community dreams, and how to empower them. In 2015-2016, Eirik was a Spurs Fellow at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) to develop Affirmative Art further. Eirik's vision of Affirmative Art soon became a nonprofit organization and a widely-used tool around USA, Europe, and Africa. His hope is that millions will use this concept to identify their future dreams, create an image of it to make it more real through alignment and action, and achieve living the life of their dreams - a life of purpose!
