Kristine Kopperud

Kristine Kopperud's nonfiction has won the Diana Woods Memorial Award for Creative Nonfiction at Lunch Ticket and appears in several anthologies and pubs, including Southeast Review, Creative Nonfiction | Sunday Short Reads, River Teeth, Hippocampus, MUTHA magazine, Literary Mama, and HuffPost. Her chapbook, Jaw Wiring: What You Need to Know, won the Flash Nonfiction Competition at Sweet: A Literary Confection and was nominated for a Pushcart. She's a grateful alumna of the Association of Writers & Writing Programs Writer-to-Writer mentorship program and a trained death doula, now working in Florida.
