Andrea Baker has paper and packing tape book about the depictions of
sexual assault from Mesopotamia to the present day forthcoming in late
2014 from Water Street Press. It's called Famous Rapes. Her next
collection of poetry, Each Thing Unblurred is Broken, is forthcoming
from Omnidawn in Fall 2015. She is also the author of Like Wind Loves a
Window (Slope Editions, 2005) and the chapbooks true poems about the
river go like this (Cannibal Books, 2006) and gilda (Poetry Society of
