Kate McCorkle’s fiction and essays have appeared in The Anthology of Cozy Noir, RKVRY Quarterly, The Penman Review, free state review, Apiary Online, and Sand Hill Review, among other places. Her essay, “Laundry” was nominated for a 2015 Pushcart Prize, and a satirical piece won second place in tNY Press’s (formerly theNewerYork) 2015 bureaucratic writing contest. Kate works as a freelance writer and editor since life isn’t busy enough as the mother of four young children.
