Susanna Dienes Ferrara writes creative nonfiction and poetry. She is a native New Yorker who lives in Northern Virginia, and she teaches English at Northern Virginia Community College. She holds an M.F.A. in creative nonfiction writing from the University of New Orleans. Her narrative nonfiction has been published in a book called Voices Rising: The Katrina Narrative Project and The Northern Virginia Review.
