Nicolas Hyacinthe, an award-winning multidisciplinary artist born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti and currently living in the USA, has work published in Black&White, COLOR, Boston Common Magazine, Best of Photography Book 2013, and 7th Annual Photography Master’s Cup. Hyacinthe is a well-established photographer, filmmaker, painter, and spoken word poet. His artwork explores, innovates, and celebrates the mundane as well as draws inspiration from the intersecting cultures, landscapes, and mediums. His award-winning photographs are titled "Cleansing" and "Fracture." He received his formal education at the Boston Latin School and studied Photography and Film Production at Emerson College. Most recently, he had a solo exhibition “Carrefour / Crossroads” at the Urban Media Arts Gallery in Malden, MA, a featured group exhibition “Crossing Cultures” at the A.P.E. Arts Gallery in Northampton, MA, showcased his work at the Whitman Cultural Council’s “Champagne, Cake & Art'' fundraiser, and was exclusively selected to be a part of a featured exhibition “Crossing Borders” at the Copley Society of Art in Boston, MA.
