days per week to
seventeen that
labor has gained
growing momentum
to reduce it yet
again to
sixteen days per
week in what
would be a momentous
historic victory
for working
folk

Alex Starr is a writer in the San Francisco Bay Area. Alex holds a B.A. in Philosophy/English from Cornell and Oxford where he co-led the Mansfield College Poetry Society.
