Karen Lee Ziner, a former journalist, studied creative writing and anthropology at The George Washington University. Her short stories have appeared in or are upcoming in The Bangalore Review; Beyond Words, and Dark Horses: The Magazine of Weird Fiction. Her news writing has appeared in The Providence Journal, The New York Times; the former Boston Phoenix; and The Village Voice.
