Rachel Hinton’s debut poetry collection, Hospice Plastics, won the Cowles Poetry Prize and was published by Southeast Missouri State University Press in October 2021. She received an MFA in poetry from the University of California, Irvine, and a BA from Kenyon College. She has previously taught courses at DePaul University, and she works as an editor.
